2008 Training Schedule

ALL CLASSES ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY.  BRING EVERYONE!

Agility:  Jumps, tunnels, weave poles, dogwalks, a-frames…this is the most fun you can have with your dog!  Agility increases the dog/handler bond and causes shy or fearful dogs to become more confident.  Dogs under the age of one year will perform age-appropriate exercises (we won’t stress a puppy’s growing body).  My agility field is always open!  If you are in the Codroy area and wish to drop by for a lesson, just give me a call and I will gladly provide a private lesson for $10.00 for about an hour.  Afterwards we can go for a free run on the beach with your dogs and mine!  Group agility classes/fun days are listed below in the calendar.

Group obedience classes:  Join us in the beautiful Codroy Valley for obedience classes!   Class content:  better listening skills, coming when called, calm and relaxed behaviour in the presence of distractions, plus the normal useful commands such as sit, stay, down, settle, and “leave it.”  There will be four intensive classes held every two weeks over the course of the summer in an outdoor location.  After each class, there will be a free run at the beach for dogs that are comfortable/suitable to run with other dogs—socialization opportunities are endless!  Any dog over the age of 3 months may attend.

Private lessons/obedience and solving behaviour problems:  I will come to your home for about a two-hour session and tailor a training program to your specific family and dog.  Cost is $80.00.  I cover the area between Deer Lake and Rose Blanche.   Should you wish to drop by my place instead (less than ideal--it is better for me to see you and the dog in the home environment, but better than nothing) about a two-hour session costs you $40.00.
