Recent News & Brags... Q achieves his CKC Championship on November 11, 2006 after being shown at a total of 4 shows, with Group placements in each show. Congratulations Robyn and Lawrence! Q sired his first litter of pups...click here for photos!
Q is not owned or co-owned by AuxArcs, but is a dog that was produced by me and lives in St. John's Newfoundland with my good friends Robyn Matthews and Lawrence Hynes. I am thrilled with Q's inherited temperament and looks, but I am even more happy that Q got to go to a place where the quality of socialization, training, and care is so amazing. It is the combination of a good dog placed in a great home that makes the dream come true. Q is a very dark liver red tri male with drive, drive, drive. He is an uncannily intelligent "little old man" who is quiet in the house but watch out when you ask him to work. He is sound of mind and body and is shaping up to be a dog of a lifetime. Structurally, he is a very nice dog...great rear, great front, nice amount of neck, level topline, perfect mover. He's got a nice amount of bone for my taste but less than what is currently popular in the show ring. Despite his "lack of bone," as some people would say, he's a masculine dog that is never mistaken for a girl. He is a CKC champion, and placed in Group each time. He has his Pre-Novice Obedience title and will soon be competing for his CD. He is in training for agility, showing great promise, a dig-in quick mover. He is doing well in flyball, has a perfect swimmer's turn and will end up being around a 4.1 second dog. Q has also been used as a skijoring dog and as part of a sled dog team. He is a pulling demon and gets along with any dog you hitch next to him. Q is standing at stud to approved bitches. He is located in St. John's, Newfoundland. If you are considering Q as a stud dog, please click here to see the Stud Dog page to read more about facts you should consider before approaching Robyn about using him.
View a short video of Q playing ball. There are a few moments during the video where side-gait can be well-seen.
