AuxArcs Delilah

12 months old
We call her "Dally."
She was born December 4, 2007 and showed herself
to be a keeper right from the beginning.
She is Vegas in female form, a true independent
spirit and a thinking dog, however she is much
softer than Vegas, and is the kind of dog that
you can just barely speak to her to say "no" and
she quits whatever she is doing immediately.
She is easy to train and very intense and
focused. Despite her incredible
biddability she does not take things to heart
and is physically very tough just like her
mother and father.
She is cuddly and sweet and loves
people. I like to call her my
Chihuahua in an Aussie body! Her favorite
spot? Lying on my lap while I lounge in my
recliner. She has a certain place
where she lays her head and curls up and she
will stay there motionless for hours if I let
her. Due to her incredible ability to melt
my black heart with her sweet eyes, she gets
away with absolute MURDER half the time.
You can almost see the other dogs shaking their
heads in wonder..."Man, if I did that I would be
in TROUBLE..."
Dally is the turn of a page
in my life. It has been years now since I
have been interested in training and competing
in dog sports, but I now feel the urge again.
Dally will be trained in agility and obedience and
we will travel to Nova Scotia to trial when she
is of age and ready. She is also in
training for SAR work.
Dally is very structurally
correct with a great front and rear and nice
moderate matching angulation. She is the
kind of dog that moves correctly all the time
and when she stops in a stand she is usually in
a perfect four-square stack. She is a
small bitch, standing 17 inches at 12 months
old. Despite that, she has good
substance of bone with a lovely feminine head.
She has a full set of bright white teeth that
meet in a perfect scissors bite. Her ears
are higher than I am comfortable with (still
within standard of course) but hey, you can't
have it all!
If Dally passes all her
health checks after the age of 2, she will be
part of the breeding program here at AuxArcs
sometime in 2010.
